2014 Art Journal finished!
A week ago I posted that I was almost finished with the altered book art journal I used throughout 2013. Well, I finished the last few pages and it is now complete! I spoke in that previous blog post about how I have not been in the habit of finishing my art journals and I felt that the key to finishing this one was in not giving it a theme. This will be my practice in art journaling as I go into 2014. ya know, the "don't fix it if it ain''t broke" concept! Another observation I made as I was looking at my completed art journal: it is full of blues and greens, my default colors. I'm going to try to break out of that mode a bit more this year. But, oh how I love shades of blue and green!So, here it is finished, along with the last few pages.
Now on to 2014 and the new altered book art journal. I have started gluing pages and putting some background color on dome so I can begin journaling.
